These terms cover your use of this website and the booking and coordination service described below. By calling us or submitting a form on this site, you agree to the terms on this page.
What We Do
We run a booking and coordination service. When you call or send a form, we take down what you're picturing and where the property is, then connect you with an independent local deck-building crew from our network who can get out to the site and is set up for that specific scope. We do not employ our own deck crew and we do not build or repair decks ourselves.
The Partner Company
The deck-building company that takes your project is independently owned and operated — it is not part of Omaha Deck Builder Co. Your contract for the deck work itself is with that company, not with us. The partner company provides its own written estimate, carries out the build or repair, and invoices and takes payment directly from you. Any warranty or guarantee on the work is the partner company's own, on whatever terms they set.
Payments
We do not take payment or issue invoices for deck work of any kind. Any payment for a build, repair, or staining and sealing job goes directly to the partner company that carried it out, on whatever terms they've agreed with you. If you have a billing question, raise it with that company first.
Quotes and Pricing
Pricing is set by the partner company, not by us, and is put to you in writing after a site visit and before any work begins. We do not quote jobs, guarantee a price, or promise a timeframe on this website or over the phone. Ask the partner company to walk through their written estimate before you agree to any work.
Complaints and Problems
If something goes wrong with the work itself, raise it with the partner company first — they carried it out and are best placed to put it right. If you can't get it resolved with them, call us at (402) 810-7834 and we will help chase it up on your behalf. We can't promise a particular outcome, since the work and the contract for it sit with the partner company, not with us.
Our Responsibility
Our role is limited to taking your call or form submission and arranging a booking with a partner company. We are not responsible for that company's workmanship, pricing, scheduling or conduct, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Nebraska or federal law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
